You must set up at least one Cobra cost template before you can complete the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen. You must set up all the necessary Cobra cost templates before you can run the extraction process.
Use the fields in this group box to enter a template ID and template name. Costpoint uses templates to map Costpoint pools and COM to Cobra results. These templates are used on the Manage Cobra Extraction Parameters screen, in which you can assign specific Costpoint projects or Cobra programs to use specific charge templates, budget element templates, and cost templates during the extraction process. This allows you to customize the relationship between sets of Cobra programs and the Costpoint projects. You can set up as many templates as needed in this screen.

Click this button to automatically load the default values in the Cost Mapping table window.
Use this table window to map Costpoint values to Cobra results. You can select Pools or COM in the CP Value Type column and enter the Costpoint values in the Costpoint Values column. You can click to enter the Cobra results if you have established a database connection in the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen.
From the drop-down list, select a value type. Select POOL for an indirect cost pool or COM for cost of money. HOURS and DIRECT automatically display in this column and cannot be changed. Map these rows to the same Cobra result if they are available.
Enter, or click to select, pool numbers or COM pool numbers. You can use wildcards in this field. The type of value depends on your selection in the CP Value Type field.
Enter, or click to select, the Cobra results value. and field validation are available only if you entered the database connection information in the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen. The labels for HOURS and DIRECT are automatically displayed, but can be changed if the Cobra system uses a different label. HOURS and DIRECT are the default labels in Cobra.
