Use this screen to initialize the links between Costpoint projects and Cobra programs which will be used in the transfer of actual costs to Cobra.
When mapping projects, you can either select the Use Mapping Table option or the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Program option in the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen. If you select the Use Mapping Table option, only the Costpoint projects that are mapped will be extracted. Otherwise, you select the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Program option, you enter the exceptions, or Costpoint projects that will not be extracted.
Also, if you select the Use Mapping Table option, you can link multiple Costpoint projects to one Cobra master program. Otherwise, If you select the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Program option, you only need to define exceptions in the mapping table.
Select the Cobra Program check box in the Manage Project User Flow screen to identify the project as a Cobra program.
Complete the information in this screen before you attempt to transfer actual costs to Cobra. To facilitate the data validation and lookup lists, enter the connection data for the Cobra database in the Cobra Software Location field of the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen.
Use this table window to enter the links between Costpoint and Cobra programs. If you selected the Use Mapping Table option in the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen, you must link all Costpoint projects (that have been identified as Cobra programs) to existing Cobra programs. You can identify Costpoint projects as Cobra programs by selecting the Cobra Program check box in the Manage Project User Flow screen. If you selected the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Program option, then you must only enter the exceptions in this table. Multiple Costpoint projects may be mapped to the same Cobra program; however, a Costpoint project can be mapped to one and only one Cobra program.
Enter, or click to select, the Cobra program that you want to map to a Costpoint project.
Enter the of Costpoint project that you want to map to a Cobra Program. You can only map a Costpoint project once in this screen. An error message displays if the Costpoint project already exists in the table. Also, you cannot map higher-level nodes if lower-level nodes have already been mapped.
Enter, or click to select, the highest level of the Costpoint project number to which you want data to be summarized.
