Use this screen to establish job titles at the detail level within your organization. This table is required.
Enter this information after you have set up the Manage Functional Job Titles screen.
Click on the toolbar to add a new Detail Job Title entry. Then click
on the toolbar to save all the entered data.
Enter a unique code to identify this detail job title. An example of a detail job title is Lighting Engineer and a code of LIGHTENG.
Enter a description for the Detail Job Title Code. This description defaults in the External Job Title field if the external job title is not provided.
Enter, or click to select, the functional job title code to be associated with this detail job title. You must initialize functional job titles before you can enter them in this field. Costpoint performs validation against the Functional Job Title table.
Displays the description for the code you entered in the Functional Job Title field.
Select this check box if the Detail Job Title Code is a corporate officer.
From the drop-down list, select if the job title duties qualification for Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption. Valid options are:
Yes — Select this if the detail job title's duties qualify an employee for FLSA exemption.
No — Select this if the detail job title's duties do not qualify an employee for FLSA exemption.
Not Applicable — Select this if you do not want to validate FLSA eligibility using an employee's job duties.
Enter the external job title that will be used in SilkRoad.
Select this check box to flag this detail job title code for export to SilkRoad. If you select this check box, the Transfer SilkRoad Data screen process will include this detail job code when exporting detail job titles to SilkRoad. If you use SilkRoad and you clear this check box, you will not be able to approve a Position Requisition for this Detail Job Title. This check box is available only if you use SilkRoad.
