MANAGE PERSONNEL ACTIONS

Use this screen to establish company-wide personnel actions for changes to an employee's Manaqe Employee Salary Information data. There is no limit to how many codes you can establish. Examples of some widely used actions include Termination, Layoff, Transfer, Merit Increase, and Promotion.

Enter this information as part of your initial setup. These codes are validated when you change information on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.

Enter a description of the Personnel Action Code. This is a required field.

Employment Status

Use this drop-down list to specify whether the action is a hire or a termination. Valid options are:

If you select Termination, the Action Type defaults to Negative but can be changed. Similarly, if you select Hire, the Action Type defaults to Positive but can be changed.

Use this drop-down list to specify whether the action is positive or negative. Valid options are:
