Use this application to flag Costpoint Projects as Time Collection projects, Expense projects, or Time & Expense projects, which will then be exported to Deltek Time Collection 5.x or greater when you execute the Export Data to Deltek Time & Expense application.
You can also flag projects for export to Deltek Time Collection or Time & Expense by selecting the appropriate Export Project value on the Manage Project User Flow.
Use this table to select and flag existing Costpoint projects as Time Collection projects, Expense projects, or Time & Expense projects, or as projects that should not be exported.
When you initialize the screen, the table window in this group box displays all projects from the Manage Project User Flow. After you highlight project rows, you can select the appropriate Export Project Value from the drop-down list and click the Assign Export Project Value button to assign the selected value to multiple projects. You can also assign export project values to each project using the Export Project column in the table.
This column displays the project ID.
This column displays the project name.
From the drop-down list, select the export project value of each project. Its contents depend on the Time Collection version selected on the Corporate Labor Settings subtask of the Configure Labor Settings screen and the licensing for Deltek Time & Expense. If you are licensed for both Deltek Time and Deltek Expense, valid options are:
Expense Project — Select this option to assign an export project type of Expense Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Expense projects are exported to Deltek Time Collection 5.x or the Deltek Expense module of Deltek Time & Expense and used in expense transactions. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Time or Deltek Time Collection timesheet transactions. This option is available only if you are licensed for Deltek Expense.
Time & Expense Project — Select this option to assign an export project type of Time & Expense Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time & Expense projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense or Deltek Time Collection 5.x and used in both expense and timesheet transactions. This option is available only if you are licensed for Deltek Expense.
Time Collection Project — Select this option to assign an export project type of Time Collection Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time Collection projects are exported to Deltek Time Collection 5.x or the Deltek Time module of Deltek Time & Expense and used in timesheet entry. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Expense transactions.
None — Select this option to assign an export project type of Not Applicable to the selected projects. Projects flagged as not applicable are not exported to Deltek Time & Expense or Deltek Time Collection 5.x.
You can either assign an Export Project value to each project using this drop-down list or you can assign Export Project values to multiple projects using the Assign Export Project Value button along with the Export Project Value drop-down list at the bottom of the screen.

Time Collection Project — Select this option to assign an export project type of Time Collection Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time Collection projects are exported to Deltek Time Collection 5.x or the Deltek Time module of Deltek Time & Expense and used in timesheet entry. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Expense transactions.
None — Select this option to assign an export project type of Not Applicable to the selected projects. Projects flagged as not applicable are not exported to Deltek Time & Expense or Deltek Time Collection 5.x.
Click this button to assign the Export Project Value to the highlighted projects.
