Use this subtask to view substitute part information for a selected component part. Establish and maintain component substitute parts on the Manage Parts screen.

If the selected component line contains a provisional part, this subtask is disabled.

Sequence

The sequence, in the order of preference, is displayed in this field.

Substitute Part

The substitute part that can be exchanged for this component is displayed in this field.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the substitute part.

Description

This field displays the description of the substitute part.

Interchangeable

This field displays Y (for Yes) or N (for No), indicating whether or not this substitute is completely interchangeable with the specified component.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure of the substitute part.

Make/Buy

This field displays M (Make) or B (Buy) status of the substitute part.
