Use this subtask to attach standard text to the MO header. For new manufacturing orders, the table window automatically loads all standard text codes set to automatically default for manufacturing orders in the Where Used subtask of the Manage Standard Text screen. These codes load whether or not you view this subtask.
This column displays the manufacturing order ID from the main screen.
This column displays the MO Status as Planned, Firm Planned, Released, In-Shop, Completed, or Closed.
This field displays the part ID for which the MO was created.
This field displays the revision level for the build part.
This field displays the quantity of the part being built with this MO.
The sequence in which the selected text will be printed is displayed in this field. Automatically defaulted standard text has the sequence number defaulted from the Where Used subtask of the Manage Standard Text screen.
Leave blank to see all Text Codes in the lookup window. Enter I to look up only text linked to the build part, or P to look up only text linked to the build-to project.
Enter, or click to select, the standard text code applicable to this MO. The lookup list displays only those text codes for which MO Routing Traveler, MO Assembly Sheet Component and/or MO Pick List has been selected in the Where-Used subtask of the Manage Standard Text screen.
This field displays the description of the selected text code.
This field displays Y (Yes) if this text will print on the routing traveler, N (No) if not. Y (Yes) displays only if MO Routing Traveler has been selected for this particular text code in the Where-Used subtask of the Manage Standard Text screen in Costpoint Product Definition. Otherwise, N (No) displays.
This field displays Y (Yes) if this text will print on the MO Assembly Sheet Header, N (No) if not. Y (Yes) displays if MO Assembly Sheet Header has been selected for this particular text code in the Where-Used subtask of the Manage Standard Text screen in Costpoint Product Definition. Otherwise, N (No) displays.
This field displays the default print option assigned to the selected text code: B (Both) to print on external and internal documents, I (Internal) to print on internal documents only, or E (External) to printed on external documents only.
Click this button to load all text codes linked to either MO Routing Travelers or MO Assembly Sheets by means of the build part or default build-to inventory abbreviation's project.
