Use this screen to maintain postal codes for ease of data entry wherever addresses are entered throughout the system. In some instances, more than one city is covered by one postal code. If this happens when you are entering an address, you can overwrite the default city.
Before using this screen, you must set up countries in the Manage Countries screen and states and provinces in the Manage States and Provinces screen.
Use this field to enter an identification code for this postal code. You can enter the first five characters, the full postal code using a hyphen, or any other length of up to 10 characters (examples: 22053, 22053-9342, or BSR204).
Use this field to enter the city covered by this postal code. A given postal code can cover more than one city. When this is the case, enter succeeding cities using the same postal code as a new row in this table window.
Use this field to enter, or use to select, the state or province in which this city is located.
This field displays the descriptive name for this State/Province. This state or province must already exist in the Manage States and Provinces screen.
Use this field to enter, or use to select, the country in which this state/province is located. this country must already exist in the Manage Countries screen.
This field displays the descriptive name for this Country.
