MANAGE MICROFRAME OBS MAPPINGS

Use this screen to map Deltek Costpoint organization IDs to Microframe Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS) department IDs. You must complete this screen before transferring data to Microframe if data is transferred using a resource mapping.

Selection Ranges

Range Option

Use this drop-down list to select the range of source IDs to be included in this mapping screen. Valid options are:

• All

• One

• Range

• From Beginning

• To End

The default for this field is All.

From

Enter the starting source ID for the range you want to include in the transfer or click to select one. If you select All or From Beginning in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.

To

Enter the ending source ID for the range you want to include in the transfer or click to select one. If you select All, One, or To End in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.

Set OBS to Organization

Select this check box to populate the Organization Breakdown Structure column with the same values that are in the Organization column.

Load Organizations

Click this button to automatically load the mapping table. If the mapping table is empty, the Organization and Organization Name columns are populated based on the selected range of organizations. If the table already has mapped rows in it, these rows are displayed along with the unmapped rows sorted by organization ID.

Organization

Enter the Costpoint organization ID to be mapped. You can click to select a valid organization ID.

Organization Name

This column is automatically loaded with the organization name associated with the selected Organization from Costpoint.

Organization Breakdown Structure

Enter the OBS department Code from MPM that corresponds to the selected Costpoint organization ID.

Items entered in the Organization Breakdown Structure field are limited to 10 characters, the maximum character length acceptable for MPM.

Screen Error Messages

• Organization ID does not exist.

• The organization entered does not exist in the Organization table. Use Lookup to see a list of valid organization IDs.

• This Organization ID is already mapped to another OBS ID.

• The organization ID selected has a current mapping to an OBS ID. To change a mapping, use the Load Organizations pushbutton to load the organization into the mapping screen. You can change the Organization Breakdown Structure column and save your changes to the mapping table.

• This OBS ID is already mapped to another Organization.

• The OBS ID selected has a current mapping to an organization. This mapping screen will only allow one-to-one relationship mappings for organizations.
