ITEM BILLING

Use this subtask to view billing information for items that are sold outside the company.

Item

This field displays the ID of the selected item.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the selected item.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure associated with the item.

Make/Buy

This field displays whether the item is M (Make) or B (Buy).

Active

This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether or not this item is active.

Catalog

This field displays the code for the catalog in which the item appears. The field to the right displays the catalog description.

Selling U/M

This field displays the item's selling unit of measure.

Internal Warranty

This field displays the internal warranty code defined on the Manage Warranty Information screen in Costpoint Product Definition. The internal warranty is the warranty offered by your company as the reseller or manufacturer of the item. The field to the right displays the description of the internal warranty code.

External Warranty

This field displays the external warranty code defined on the Manage Warranty Information screen in Costpoint Product Definition. The external warranty is the warranty offered by the original manufacturer of the item. The field to the right displays the description of the external warranty code.

Cost of Goods Sold

Calculation Method

This field displays the method used to calculate the cost of goods sold, as selected on the Cost Information subtask of the Manage Product Price Catalogs screen.

Percentage of Sales

If the Calculation Method is Percent of Sales, this field displays the percentage of sales used to calculate the cost of goods sold.

Warranty Costs

Calculation Method

This field displays the method used to calculate warranty costs, as selected on the Warranty Information subtask of the Manage Product Price Catalogs screen.

Percentage of Sales

If the Calculation Method is Percent of Sales, this field displays the percentage of sales used to calculate the warranty costs.
