ITEM COST

Use this subtask to view item cost information for individual items. This information comes from the Manage Item Costs screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Item

This field displays the ID of the selected item.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the selected item.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure associated with the item.

Make/Buy

This field displays whether the item is M (Make) or B (Buy).

Active

This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether the status of the item is active.

Type

This field displays cost type for this item. The cost types are:

Total

This field displays the total unit cost of the item for this cost type.

Material Direct

This field displays the cost per unit of materials for this item.

Material Burden

This field displays the cost per unit of material burden for this item. Material burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses for materials.

Labor Direct

This field displays the cost per unit of labor for this item.

Labor Burden

This field displays the cost per unit of labor burden for this item. Labor burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses for labor.

Subcontract Direct

This field displays the cost per unit of subcontracted services for this item.

Subcontract Burden

This field displays the cost per unit of subcontract burden for this item. Subcontract burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses of subcontracted services.

Misc 1 Direct

This field displays the cost per unit of miscellaneous 1 expense for this item.

Misc 1 Burden

This field displays the cost per unit of miscellaneous 1 expense burden for this item. Miscellaneous 1 burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses for miscellaneous 1 expenses.

Misc 2 Direct

This field displays the cost per unit of miscellaneous 2 expense for this item.

Misc 2 Burden
