PURGE AUDIT FILE DATA

Use this screen to purge data from the payroll audit trail tables. Data is purged only by date. Purging of data results in permanent loss of that audit trail data.

Use this screen whenever you want to clear any or all of the payroll audit trail tables.

Multi-state tax functionality was added to a number of applications to allow the proper calculation of withholdings for employees who work in multiple states in a single pay period. Since the new tables have been created, this application now purges data from additional tables: EMPL_TAX_MULTI_ADT, EMPL_E_STATE_ADT, and EMPL_PR_STATE_ADT.

Start

Enter, or click to select, the ending date for records to be purged. All audit trail information for entries made to the selected table on or before this date is purged from the table.

Audit File

Use this group box to select the particular audit trail table to purge. In the case of Payroll Edit Table and Employee Earnings, the application purges all subtask tables as well. To include a particular table, select the corresponding option. You can purge only one table (with its subtasks) at a time.
