Use this screen to define Costpoint message boards and message board topics and then map them to Costpoint application screens.
Message Boards enable collaboration between Costpoint users through the email message exchange. Email discussions can include users who are away from Costpoint or away from a computer.
Use this field to enter a unique name for the message board.
Use this field to enter a brief description of the message board.
Use this drop-down list to specify the current status of the message board. Choose one of the following options:
Active — Choose this option if the message board is fully functional.
Inactive — Choose this option if the message board cannot be seen or used.
Read Only — Choose this option if the message board is visible but cannot accept new entries.
Select this check box if you want to assign custom access rights to message board topics. Clear this check box to indicate that standard application/module rights are valid for all message board topics.
