From the Manage Job Groups screen you establish job group codes that can be applied to both employee records under the HR Info tab of the Manage Employee Salary Information screen, as well as functional job titles in Costpoint Compensation. Job groups represent a single job or a set of jobs that are similar in description, compensation and opportunity for advancement.
Enter the job group code that represents a single job or a set of similar jobs.
Enter the description of the job code.
Enter a number from 1 to 999 to specify the order in which the job groups will be printed on all applicable reports.
Enter, or click to select, the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) code to which this job group is assigned. The setting in this field depends on the EEO reporting form option on the Configure Affirmative Action Settings screen. For example, if the EEO Reporting Form is EEO-1 Report, only those EEO-1 number codes (listed on the Configure Affirmative Action Settings screen) are valid for entry in this field. You cannot link the same job group to more than one EEO code.
