MANAGE AWARD CODES

Use this screen to enter award code information. Awards can be either service or performance awards. If you enter a service award code, you must fill in the Number of Months field. Use the Employee Award field to specify what type of award is given to the employee.

To set up and distribute awards, perform the following steps:

  1. On the Manage Awards Codes screen, set up service or performance award codes.

  2. On the Manage Employee Awards screen, assign service or employee awards to your employees.

  3. To update employee service awards for multiple employees, use the Update Employee Service Awards screen.

Award Code

Enter the award code. Each code must be unique.

Award Name

Enter the award code description.

Employment Status

Use the drop-down list to select the status the employee must have to be eligible for the award. Valid options are:

Award Type

Use the drop-down list to select the award type. Valid options are:

Inactive award codes cannot be assigned to employees. You can use the Inactive code for awards that are no longer used.  

Number of Months

Enter the number of months an employee must work before becoming eligible for the award. If you selected Service in the Award Type field, this field is required.

Employee Award

Enter the award. For example, you could enter "$50."
