MANAGE LEAVE EDIT TABLE

Use this screen to edit leave accruals, leave lost, and leave deferrals generated by the Compute Leave Accruals screen (for example, you may need to edit leave information for employees terminating during the open leave period). When you execute the Compute Leave Accruals process, Costpoint updates this table with the accrued, lost, and deferred leave information. This table serves as a temporary holding table until you post the completed leave-related amounts to the General Ledger.

Use this screen to edit leave accruals generally after running the Compute Leave Accruals screen, after reviewing the Compute Leave Accruals report, before printing paychecks or employee leave statements, and before posting to the General Ledger.

Identification

Employee

Enter, or click  to select, the ID of the employee whose leave information you wish to select for review. The employee's name displays in the unlabeled field to the right.

Table Window

Leave Type

Enter, or click to select, the leave type. This field loads from the Employee Leave Journal when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Leave Cycle

This field loads from the Employee Leave Journal when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Leave Start Date

This date displays from the Leave Period Journal for the current open leave period.

Leave End Date

This date displays from the Leave Period Journal for the current open leave period.

Leave Year

This field displays from the Leave Period Journal for the current open leave period.

Ceiling Method

This field displays ceiling method in effect for the leave type at the time of computing leave. This loads from the Configure Leave Types screen. The ceiling method populate this field when you when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Dollars/Hours

This field displays the method for tracking leave, by either monetary amount or hours, in effect for the leave type at the time of computing leave. This loads from the Configure Leave Types screen. The method for tracking leave populate this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Regular Hours Basis

This field displays the number of regular (non-overtime) hours on the timesheets for the leave period when the accrual method is hours worked (the Compute Method is H on the Configure Leave Tables screen).

Overtime Hour Basis

Enter the number of overtime hours used to calculate the accrual. This option applies when computing leave types with a compute method of E-Annually on Hire Date (Posted Hours).

Accrued Hours

This field displays the hours associated with the leave accrual transaction. The number of accrued hours populate this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Accrued Amount

This field displays the monetary amount associated with the leave accrual transaction. The amount populates this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Deferred Hours

This field displays the hours associated with the deferred leave transaction. The number of deferred hours populate this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Deferred Amount

This field displays the monetary amount associated with the deferred leave transaction. The amount populates this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Lost Hours

This field displays the hours associated with the leave lost transaction. The number of lost hours populate this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Lost Amount

This field displays the monetary amount associated with the leave lost transaction. The amount populates this field when you execute the Compute Leave Accruals screen.

Enter a short description (a maximum of 30 alphanumeric characters) for this record.
