MANAGE PAY TYPE RESTRICTIONS

Use this screen to establish pay types that are invalid (restricted) for a specific project, labor location/local, and labor group/union. This screen is available if you selected the Enable Pay Type Restrictions check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen.

Fill out this screen only if you want to disable a company-wide pay type. For example, if double time is not authorized for a specific government contract at a certain location, add that pay type to this table.

Initialize this screen before you enter any labor-related data into Costpoint.

Location

Project

Enter, or click to select, the project to which this record applies.

Project Name

This non-editable column displays the project name.

Labor Location/Local

If you require labor location/locals on timesheets, enter, or click to select, the labor location/local code (established on the Manage Labor Locations/Locals screen) to which this record applies. If this field is not filled in (and labor location/locals are required), the row applies to all locations (for the project and Labor Group/Union).

This field is available only if you selected the Require Labor Location on Timesheet check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen.

This field is titled Local if you selected the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen. If you did not select the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen, this field is titled Labor Location.

Labor Loc/Local Description

This field displays the labor location or local description.

This field is entitled Local Description if you selected the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen. If you did not select the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen, this field is titled Labor Loc Description.

Labor Group/Union

Enter, or click to select, the labor group/union code (established on the Manage Labor Groups/Unions screen) to which this record applies.  If this field is not filled in, then the row applies to all labor group/unions (for the project and location).

This field is titled Union if you selected the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen. If you did not select the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen, this field is titled Lab Group.

Labor Group/Union Description

This field displays the labor group or union description.

This field is titled Union Description if you selected the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen. If you did not select the Enable Union Functionality check box on the Configure Labor Settings screen, this field is titled Lab Group Description.

Pay Type

Enter, or click to select, the pay type to be restricted for this project, location/local, and labor group/union.

Pay Type Description

This field displays the pay type description.
