Use this screen to enter contractor addresses that print on the government form 1443, Contractor's Request for Progress Payment. Addresses entered here can be referenced on the 1443 Info tab of the Manage Project Billing Information screen and print in block 1 of the form 1443. Note that you can also access the Manage Contractor Addresses screen in Costpoint Sales Order Entry.

Set up this screen before initializing projects requiring a 1443 bill on the Manage Project Billing Information screen. You must maintain this screen when you need new addresses or when you need to modify existing addresses. If you modify an existing contractor code, all the projects that use this code are modified. If you need to modify a contractor address and related bills have already been computed, you must recalculate the bill before the modification shows on the billing.
Enter the contractor code to identify this address. On the Manage Project Billing Information screen, you enter this code to link the address to the bill.

In this group box, enter the name and address associated with the contractor code.

Enter any address information required. Do not enter city, state/province, country, or postal code information on these lines; enter this information in the fields reserved for them.

Enter the postal code for this address. Note that the postal code has a special function that brings in the city, state/province, and country code if they have not already been entered. The first time you use a postal code, it stores the city, state/province, and country code in its table. From then on, if you enter the postal code first, Costpoint brings in the other information. After the information has been brought in, you can still modify it. However, modifications you make do not modify the default information on the Manage Postal Codes screen.
