Project Manufacturing features integrate Costpoint with Shop Floor Time (SFT) and Manufacturing Execution (MES), which allow you to plan and cost jobs based on project requirements and track details while maintaining the integrity on the manufacturing floor. Also, the integrated accounting, project management, and materials functionalities allow you to resolve day-to-day production issues.
On the Manage Manufacturing Orders screen, new fields have been added to select the MO type being created and to keep track of changes to scheduled dates at the MO routing line level.
On the Enter Manufacturing Order Issues screen, new fields have been added to display a comparison between planned parts and actual parts.
On the Print Manufacturing Order Documentation screen, a new drop-down list option, Operation Sequence, has been added to the Selection Ranges group box and to the Pick List/Component Labels drop-down list.
On the Enter Manufacturing Order Reliefs screen, Costpoint now updates the MO_HDR.STATUS_CHNG_DTT field when the MO status is changed to C (Closed). Some validations have been removed when M and D type manufacturing orders are loaded on the main screen.
On the Manage MO Operation Completions screen, a hidden field has been added to calculate the percentage of completion. For each MO routing operation sequence, this field calculates the percentage of quantity completed as compared to the MO build quantity.
On the Manage MO Quality Control Inspection Results screen, you can now edit the value of the Work Center field for inspections coming from MES. Also, a new hidden column has been added that calculates the percentage of quantity completed over the MO build quantity. The field gets updated whenever the Total Completed quantity is updated for the operational step.
On the Create MO WIP Variance Journal Entry screen, new hidden fields have been added that:
Is updated to the value to Y (Yes) whenever the WIP variance process creates a non-reversing Journal Entry (with JE_HDR.RVRS_FL = N) for the MO in the last Period/Subperiod for the fiscal year (meaning year-end)

On the View Manufacturing Order Status screen, a new Production Control field has been added. A new Percent Complete field has been also been added to the Routings Subtask.
On the Import Manufacturing Order Status Updates screen, new logic has been added to the to update the MO_ROUTING.ROUTING_CHNG_DTT field if changes are made to the Planned Start and Planned Completion dates for MO routings. New logic has been added to update the MO_HDR.SCHED_CHNG_DTT field if changes are made to the MO Planned Shop Date, MO Due Date, and MO Priority fields. And new logic has been added to update the MO_ROUTING.SCHED_CHNG_DTT field if changes are made to the Planned Start and Planned Completion dates for MO routings.
On the Configure MO Documentation Print Options screen, a new Operation Sequence option has been added to the Default Sort drop-down list and in the Pick List/Component Labels group box.
On the Expedite Manufacturing Orders screen, a new Percent Complete field has been added to the main screen and the Routings subtask to display the completion of the manufacturing order and QC inspections expressed in percent. This field displays 100% when the manufacturing order is closed or completed.
